What are the types of AI?

There are two main types of AI, namely Narrow or Weak AI and General or Strong AI. Narrow AI is designed to perform a specific task and can only operate within that context. Examples of narrow AI include voice-recognition software, chatbots, and image recognition algorithms. In contrast, General AI refers to machines or systems that can perform any intellectual task that a human can perform, and can operate in any intellectual domain. However, the type of AI we currently have is only Narrow AI and achieving General AI is a long-term goal.
