How does nature change in autumn?

During autumn, nature undergoes a significant transformation. The leaves of deciduous trees change color and fall to the ground, leaving the branches bare. The days become shorter and the temperature starts to drop, leading to a change in the behavior of animals as they begin to prepare for winter. Trees and plants also produce less chlorophyll, which gives them their green color, and start to store nutrients for the colder months. Many migratory birds begin to depart for warmer climates. The transition from the warmth and abundance of summer to the cool and barrenness of winter can be seen and felt throughout nature during autumn.
