What were the key differences in ideologies between Gandhi and Bose?

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, also known as Mahatma Gandhi, and Subhas Chandra Bose were two influential leaders who played crucial roles in India's struggle for independence from British colonial rule. However, despite their shared goal, they held key differences in their ideologies. Gandhi advocated for non-violent resistance and believed in the power of truth and passive resistance to achieve independence. He preached the importance of ahimsa (non-violence) and satyagraha (holding onto truth). On the other hand, Bose was more militant and believed in armed struggle against the British. He argued that non-violence alone would not be enough to secure independence and that aggressive action was necessary. Bose formed the Indian National Army (INA) and sought military support from various countries to fight against the British. While both leaders were passionate about India's freedom, their contrasting approaches highlighted the diverse strategies and ideologies within the Indian independence movement.
