An employment tribunal hearing is a legal process that takes place when an employee believes they have been treated unfairly in the workplace. During the hearing, evidence and legal arguments are presented from both the employee and employer's side. The hearings are usually held in courtrooms or conference rooms and are open to the public. A panel of three judges, led by a legally-qualified chairperson, presides over the hearing. The panel listens to all the evidence, determines credibility, and ultimately decides the outcome of the case. The judgment can be appealed, but if there is no appeal, the decision is final and legally binding.
