When to use each tense?

The choice of tense in English language largely depends on the context and the time of the action being referred to. The present tense(the verb form mostly used to describe actions that are happening currently) can be used to talk about a variety of activities, while the present continuous tense (used to describe actions currently taking place) is generally used to talk about events that are happening right now. The past tense (the verb form used to talk about a completed action in the past) can be used to talk about events or actions that have already happened. The present perfect tense (used to describe an action that occurred in the past but has a connection with the present) is used to talk about experiences which happened at an unspecified time. The future tense (used to describe actions that are going to happen) can be used to refer to an event that is certain to happen in the future. The choice of tense is an essential aspect of effective communication in English language.
