What are the different types of AI?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a term used to describe various technologies that enable computers to perform tasks that would usually require human-like intelligence to accomplish. There are three primary types of AI: reactive machines, limited memory, and self-aware. Reactive machines merely react to changes in their environment, without any ability to learn or adjust to those environments, whereas limited-memory systems use past experience to make future predictions. Self-aware AI takes into account the context in which it operates, and has the ability to learn from experience and adapt to new environments.
