What is fragile narcissism?

Fragile narcissism is a personality trait that describes individuals who are overly dependent on external sources for validation and who are hypersensitive to criticism. They require constant admiration and attention from others to maintain their fragile self-esteem, and will often react negatively when their expectations are not met.
