What is the current state of inland navigation in Vietnam?

The current state of inland navigation in Vietnam is slowly improving, with the government investing in infrastructure development such as dredging rivers and building new ports to increase the navigability of waterways. There has also been an increase in the use of inland waterways for transportation of goods, particularly bulk commodities such as coal and fertilizer. However, challenges such as insufficient waterway depth, poor infrastructure, and inadequate regulations continue to hinder the growth of inland navigation and limit its potential in Vietnam.
