What is net force?

Net force is the overall force acting on an object, taking into account the sum of all individual forces that are acting on it. In simpler terms, it is the combination of all forces acting on an object in a particular direction. If the net force on an object is zero, the object will remain at rest or continue moving at a constant velocity. However, if the net force is not zero, the object will either accelerate or decelerate in the direction of the net force.
