What is Newton's third law?

Newton's third law, also known as the law of action and reaction, states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This principle implies that any force exerted by one body on another will result in an equal and opposite force exerted by the second body back on the first. In simpler words, if object A exerts a force on object B, then object B will exert an equal force in the opposite direction on object A. This law is applicable to all types of forces, whether they are contact forces like pushing or pulling, or non-contact forces like gravitational or electromagnetic forces. Newton's third law is fundamental in understanding the dynamics of motion and interactions between objects.
