What is the history of photography?

The history of photography dates back to the early 1800s when a French inventor named Joseph Nicéphore Niépce developed the first photographic image using a camera obscura and a light-sensitive silver-plated copper sheet. Over time, other inventors and photographers such as Louis Daguerre, William Henry Fox Talbot, and George Eastman continued to refine and advance the medium. Photography became more accessible to the general public with the introduction of Kodak's Brownie camera in the early 20th century. Today, photography has become an integral part of our daily lives and continues to evolve with the introduction of digital technology.
