What are the different bodies of NATO?

NATO has several different bodies that serve different functions. The North Atlantic Council (NAC) is the main political decision-making body of NATO, consisting of the ambassadors of all member countries. The Military Committee provides advice and direction on military policy and strategy, while the International Staff supports the work of both bodies. Other bodies include the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, NATO's Science and Technology Organization, and the NATO Communications and Information Agency, among others. Each body works together to ensure that NATO remains effective in its mission to promote security and defend its member countries.
