What is the Lean Canvas model?

The Lean Canvas model is a framework that enables entrepreneurs to quickly and effectively define and validate their business plans. It was developed by entrepreneur and author Ash Maurya as a more simplified and actionable alternative to traditional business plans. The Lean Canvas consists of nine key elements that cover all aspects of a business, including the problem statement, solution, target customer, key metrics, channels, revenue streams, cost structure, unique value proposition, and unfair advantage. By filling out these sections and constantly iterating on them, entrepreneurs can identify the most crucial aspects of their business idea and focus their efforts on creating value for their customers. This model is particularly useful for startups and early-stage companies, as it encourages a lean and agile approach to business development.
